Areas of Learning
Your child will mostly be taught through games and play.
We follow the Early Years curriculum and plan our activities around the different areas of learning according to each age group.

● expressive arts and design
Assessments
Your child’s progress will be reviewed when they are between 2 and 3 by an early years practitioner or health visitor.
Their class teacher will assess them at the end of the school year when they turn 5.
The assessment is based on classroom observation - your child won’t be tested. It uses the early learning goals.
Ofsted Registration & Inspection
Our nursery is registered with and inspected by Ofsted, as a regulated child care provider within the London Borough of Greenwich. We are able to provide child care to children aged 9 months to 5 years old, and we are registered for 35 children per day.
We have a low turnover of staff, with a high ratio of staff in attendance each day. This enables us to work with the children in small groups and on a 1:1 basis.
As an Ofsted registered nursery, we rigorously abide by government legislation regarding the educational and safety needs of all pre-school children. We comply with all current legislative child care and educational requirements.
Following our Ofsted inspection in October 2013, the quality and standards of our early years provision was rated "good". As a nursery we strive to make continued changes and improvements to enable us to encompass new legislation, changes in criteria, and to work towards our goal of being an excellent educational provider.
